Strawberry Fields Forever

Part of our trip to the Beatsch House with Auntie M and Amy was a trip to the U-Pick Strawberry Field that we have always said we wanted to go check out and just never managed to fit it in. It's hard to pass up the beach when you live in the desert, but a benefit to June Gloom in Carlsbad I suppose is the chance to explore and cross stuff off the list! The strawberry field is pretty neat and definetly worth the wait. The kids loved it and the drizzle didn't even faze them.

Billy got to carry the bucket. A big job and he was not about to drop it. So instead, he squeezed the life out of it and most of the berries. At least the ones that made it into the bucket!

Emi can't wait to go back!
