Our dear friends the Mings invited us to go to the lake on their mythical boat. Fortunatly for us Lake Pleasant is only about 10 minutes away from the house and, as it turns out, their boat is real. It does exist! So off we went, Dr. RosenRosen.

Tara promised me the kids would be safe and usually even fall asleep on the boat because of the whole rocking motion thing. Yeah, right. I said. We decided the smart decision would be to leave Squishy with Grandma that way the kid-parent ratio worked out in our favor. I figured the idea of napping at the lake was as much a figment of her imagination as the mythical boat. Again, as it turns out....Tara was right they do have a boat and the kids do fall asleep on it! Lesson learned here: start believing your crazy friends. Billy only lasted about 5 mintues and then proceeded to sleep the ENTIRE rest of the trip!
