We finally completed the whole chicken coop backyard redux and it looks fabulous! The grass is in, the sprinklers are working and the chickens are loving it.
The hang up in the process actually came from left field and not our amazing contracting skills. There was just something different about Lello-Chic-E. She is huge for starters and her feathers were coming in, in a completely different manner than the others... As it turns out, Lello is NOT a chicken at all. She's a TURKEY!!! Who knew? Not quite sure what this means just yet. Abi will be so upset if she "goes to the farm," but a turkey...I don't know! We'll keep everyone posted.
